Very good apartment in an excellent location.

Pro: Location was perfect, close to the bus stop, the railway station and the Interspar supermarket. In the apartment there was everything you need for a one-week sightseeing tour.

Contro: The apartment is on the third floor and there is no lift, but we didn't have any problem with it.

Get QR codes before host leave

Pro: The apartment was very clean. Location was a good base for visiting Venice. It was about a 15 minute drive to decent parking (go early!). The host was accommodating of our almost-late arrival and helped carry our luggage upstairs.

Contro: After letting us in to the apartment, the host said he would send a receipt - and he did. It was received at the email we provided. However, he also said that he would send 4 QR codes that are required of tourists who wish to visit the city. These were not received to that same email (yes, spam was checked). He claimed both to have sent them and also claimed that they could only be provided the day of booking; which is it? Why would he have sent them if they could not be used? We clearly were not interested in going to the island of Venice after 10 pm, which is when he promised to send QR codes. Why not just say, \
