Hostmate - Venezia - Sant Agostino

Pro: We stayed in the apartment for 3 days on New Year's Eve. The apartment itself is comfortably large with two separate bedrooms, a living room and a kitchen, which is equipped with microwave, toaster,coffee machine and washing machine just what you need. There is also local heating and is was very warm. The living room window is right about a canal,where there is a nice view. There is a minimarket and restaurant nearby. We loved it. The owner communicated with us on WhatsApp, which was good.

Contro: They wanted us to set an arrival time a day before our arrival which we did approximately. As time when by, is turned out that we were late for that time because our flight was delayed. They canceled the arrival time and set us a new check in which was one hour after we has arrived at the address and we had to wait outside in the cold with our suitcases . On the second day of our stay we accidentally broke the key of the front door of the building leaving part of the key inside the lock, which we are really sorry about and apologize for ones again. But we didn't know that we shouldn't have inserted the key all the way in like we did. ( A woman from the building explained to us after the accident) For which they changed us € 100. For check out they told us twice that is 10:00am. while in Booking it says 11:00am. After we told them that, they agreed to let us stay till 11:00 but they explicitly emphasized that we need to be out by this time and we need to collect our garbage.

Short family gateway

Pro: 20min walking distance to piazza Marco. It’s was clean with nice view over the canal! Quiet neighborhood with a caffe bar right on the corner. Salvatore, the guy who is handling the apartment, gave us few tips for Venezia and surroundings.

Contro: Everything was fine.

Convenient location, clean and cozy. Highly recommend.

Pro: Wonderful apartment – everything is clean and comfortable, with all the facilities for living and cooking. Not far from all the main sights and landmarks. The view of the canal made mornings with a cup of coffee even more enjoyable. Thank you!

Pro: The kitchen was a good supply of utensils and dishes .Was very quiet and comfortable, great views of the canal to watch the boats . Good location to all the attractions.

Contro: The door to the apartment doesn't lock properly even though we were shown it's very difficult.

Very good place to stay

Pro: Very good location, it’s just 12 min from station S L Venezia. The apartment is very cozy, light, spacious, quiet and there is nice view.

Calm and beautiful apartment in a hidden gem part of Venice

Pro: Clean, quiet, stylishly designed. Comfortable beds and a fantastic location away from the crowds at the Rialto and San Marco, but close for easy access to sights when needed. Easy check in process.

Contro: Not a problem for us, but guests should be aware the two bedrooms are separated by a sliding door with no lock rather than two distinct rooms

Definitely Recommend, In the Middle of Venice, 10 min walk to most of the popular attractions

Pro: Good Location, we had Everything you need in the property. Small bedroom and living room has view to the canal.

Contro: I didn’t notice message on whatsapp from host, to organise time to meet up, so we had to wait an hour. Totally my fault, i checked info, and it does says check in from 3-8pm

No hussel apartment in Venice. Quite, clean and cozy

Pro: Perfect location, plenty of nice places to eat, well connected to rail station and local public transport. The apartment was extremely clean and well maintained. Communication with the host was seamless and very polite.

Contro: Nothing of a note

Spacious apartment to rest the feet

Pro: Lovely large apartment, beautiful host, central location, good A/C for the hot weather. I would recommend a new shower head.

Pro: kitchen well equipped with utensils Extremely clean Lovely view Comfy beds Shower works well Attention to detail - drying rack, lots of hooks and surfaces for organisation, sufficient garbage bags and dishwasher tablets Overall really lovely stay. (Facial)Tissue paper, coffee and oil would be nice-to-haves, but nothing one cannot get from the nearby supermarket.
