Great location and building
Pro: The location on Giudecca and the Molino Stucky building are fabulous. We had a 5th floor place. The studio was decorated nicely in Venetian style, it is spacious with high ceilings, the bed is comfy (hard mattress), nice bath in marble. All a tiny bit worn , but still very nice. The somewhat older airconditioner took a day to cool down the place a bit , but then it held the cool (needed to run almost non-stop ‘though with 28 C degrees outside). Digital check- in was effortless and contact with Michele, who handed over the keys and explained a few things, was very nice.
Contro: The place is visibly managed under the “bare minimum” concept including equipment for selfcatering. The kitchen is equipped with very little stuff ( e.g only 2 wineglasses, one beer glass, one barely functioning knife, a single big plastic spoon to stir anything you cook and to serve as well, no wooden spoons nor any other stirring / serving tools, no proper size mugs, not enough silverware etc) This is below standard basic selfcatering equipment - not corresponding with the advertised “fully equipped kitchen”. Just a suggestion: buying a bunch of basic but proper Ikea-type stuff would not be a big investment and would go a long way. There was no real kitchen towel, only a half a roll of kitchen paper and a paper wrap, one teeny sponge to clean, a mini-dishsoap that barely was enough for 3 days etc. There were a few pepper and salt bottles , some empty, some in various stages of emptiness- fullness, probably left there by guests. No oil or sugar. 2 nice towels per person, but no small towel(s) for the bidet or to dry hands. Finding the trash cans (as we were per automated message told we had to take out the trash) about 100m from this lux complex was probably not the scavenger hunt you enjoy on your holiday. There is simply a lack of a touch of hospitality. For such a nice, lux venue a total clash of concepts, in my view. With a little bit of care for this the place would deserve a 10. We left an opened bottle of olive oil for next guests ( room 39, July 18) hope they find it useful for their first meals.

Clean, comfortable & great location
Pro: This was our third stay here. We just love the Giudecca location, the views across the water and the ease of having our own space with a little kitchenette etc.. All very clean and comfortable and it was good to see that kitchen items are maintained with some of the pans etc replaced since last year. We also like the 'No Pets' policy, which not all places enforce.
Contro: Could be a bit more generous with things like T-roll, shower gel, washing up liquid and perhaps some cleaning spray to enable guests to clean up more thoroughly. Otherwise, happy with everything and we'll be happy to stay here again next time.
