Ca' Ginevra

Pro: Quiet but central flat, warm in winter, well equipped. Very comfortable bed.

Contro: Location in a quiet alley meant rooms were a little dark. But the Christmas tree brightened up the sitting room! Lovely touch.

A fantastically equipped, central apartment - in a great area for exploring the city.

Pro: The location is exceptional. Down a quiet alleyway but in the heart of the city, less than 10 minutes walk from the central railway station, in an authentic district with all amenities at arms' reach. The flat is very spacious for a city apartment and could have comfortably slept more than us two. The amenities were first rate with everything (and I mean everything) you could wish for a self catering or independent stay. The neighbourhood, though very lively, is 50 metres away - and kept out of earshot by good double glazing and shutters. Communication with Giovanni before and during our stay was perfect, and when a minor mishap occurred wth the electric he solved it quickly, calmly and without fuss. We would love to return and see more of this fantastic city, and when we do, we'll be sure to stay at Ca' Ginevra again.

Contro: I struggle to find anything negative to say. I have slept on a comfier mattress, but it is at my own house. I would maybe have liked a few more personal local tips for where to see / eat, but a Lonely Planet guide was thoughtfully left there and was used throughout our stay.

A lovely quiet place to stay, i would definitely stay there again if i was going to Venice

Pro: It was a beautiful apartment in a an ideal location, only 10 minute walk from the station and about 10-15 from the Rialto. and a few minutes to where the ferry stops going back to the airport. The host gave me clear insturctions on how to get there and he met me nearby to give me the keys and show me the apartment, he also gave me recommendations to resturents and tips for travel and things to do, The apartment had everything i needed and was spotlessly clean, just perfect all round

Amazing place

Pro: The ideal location for a trip to Venice; quiet enough due to being off of a main road but close enough to a main street with a vaporetto stop 3 minutes away. Close to great restaurants and shops recommended to me by the host, who was the most helpful host I have ever had. The house itself had everything that was needed, it felt like your own personal hotel, 10/10

Pro: The apartment was perfect for my needs. Was right by the Jewish Ghetto. The host was great. He met me by the taxi stop and helped me arrange a taxi to the airport.

Pro: Appartement bien situé, au calme mais proche des commerçants. Notre hôte s'est déplacé tard dans la nuit (minuit passé…) pour nous remettre les clés.

Pro: Bardzo dobra lokalizacja, apartament wyposażony we wszystko co niezbędne, bardzo dobry kontakt z właścicielem.

Pro: Helpful, attentive host. Location within reach of the train station.
