Palazzina Canal

Pro: Appartamento bello zona giorno e cucina ideale per accogliere 10 persone. Zona tranquilla ma con tanti ristoranti nelle vicinanze. Fermata del vaporetto davanti a casa. La ragazza che ci ha accolto è stata molto gentile e i suoi consigli molto utili. Ci ha organizzato una interessantissima visita a una fornace a Murano.

Contro: Mi è piaciuto tutto.L'entrata all'appartamento ha delle scale ripide, non è adatto per chi fa fatica a fare le scale.

Pro: My fourth trip to Venice. From my point of view Cannaregio is the best part of Venice where to stay. It is quiet, lot’s of good but not overpriced restaurants, easy to get there from train, parking house or airport and well connected via Vaporreto. Big supermarket (for Venice standards) about 400 meters. We spent five nights in Palazzina Canal and I can only say that it is an exceptional place which is worth of every Euro spent. I can only highly reccommend. Directly on the canal, so kids spend an hour every morning just sitting in the window and watching traffic in the canal. Few steps from Vaporetto stop. Exceptionally clean and with modern central air condition and heating (useful during our visit end of October). Can accommodate about 10 people, but we were only five (3 kids), so each kid enjoyed own room.

Prefect stay on Venice. If we’re ever lucky enough to return we will definitely be staying there!

Pro: The property was in a perfect location for our needs. Check in was seamless, with very friendly staff. The unit was spotless. So clean

Great place with a view

Pro: Great place with amazing view on the canal Great location (plenty of very good restaurants just downstairs or nearby, close to water bus station, silent) Very spacious with 3 bathrooms, big kitchen and living room All facilities that you need - even a high chair for a baby Very nice and helpful staff (our plane was delayed and arrival as well, very good communication, great recommendations (Murano glass factory free tour))

Contro: The apartment is a bit dark - but this is standard for all the apartments in Venice There is quite a steep staircase to the apartment and no elevator which was was a bit struggle with 2 small kids, stroller and 3 elderly people we were travelling with - but we managed so you will as well Anyway still recommend the apartment - if we go once again to Venice and it is available I will book it for sure

Loved the location, space and friendliness and easy explanation from Goleyas.

Pro: Location was great as it was easy to get to from the train station and some others were dropped off just in front of the apartment at guglio from the airport water taxi. Kitchen was fully equipped, showers were great, lovely main sitting area and loved sitting on the window looking out to the canal and watching the traffic go by!

Contro: The tv wouldn’t sync with our apps after trying numerous different ways which meant we couldn’t watch the olympics and sports we wanted to watch on the tv, we could only watch them on our phones. The Italian free olympics only put on Italians competing in the olympics.

A canal and sunset view gem!

Pro: This apartment is just wonderful. I a great location to walk or catch a ferry and with a great view over one of the bigger canals. Plenty of great restaurants nearby and so much room to relax after a day of walking through Venice. Beautiful views of the sunset from the front balconies. The Murano glass chandelier and wall scones just completed a beautiful place. We had a wonderful time and communication with the hosts was great.

Beautiful, well located apartment close to everything but without tourist traffic.

Pro: Wonderful location, right on a canal by a vaporatto stop, but outside the bustle of the city center. St. Mark's was less than a half-hour walk. The apartment has been renovated with a modern kitchen and baths, including a washer/dryer. Linens were upscale. Several breakfast, lunch and dinner options exist on the canal. We had daily breakfast right under the apartment and two great dinners at local restaurants. The host arranged water taxi transportation from airport and to bus terminal for departure.

Contro: There is no elevator and the apartment is up two full flights of stairs.

Great villa.beautiful updated kitchen that is well stocked. Nice for families.

Pro: Very roomy and clean. With 9 people privacy was good.

Contro: Bathroom layout. The bathrooms themselves were updated and great. The position of the bathrooms was not convenient for 2 of the bedrooms.

A Great Stay in Venice!

Pro: Solid, roomy, quiet family-sized apartment well equipped for a several day stay. A nice kitchen, elegant towels and plenty of hot water for showers and clothes washing. The Red House team did a marvelous job of welcoming us and making arrangements for us. From water taxis to dinner reservations, the staff took care of our every need. Nicer pillows would make the beds more comfortable.
