Pro: Odore di pulito appena entrati, appartamento accogliente e molto bene attrezzato, pieno di tutto ciò che può servire messo a disposizione in cucina e in bagno. Letti comodi, cuscini abbondanti. Zona appartata e tranquilla.
Contro: Assolutamente niente!

Good Stay
Pro: Not far from the station, on a short walking distance. The apartment was quite clean and brand new, with everything needed during a stay. They really look after their guests, providing all items and comforts, including coffee machine and smart TV, which can be essential sometimes. Also, even if we did not use it, there was a washing machine and kitchen utensils.
Contro: The area around the apartment can look bit scruffy, and can feel not OK for someone not local. We did not have major issues anyway. The soundproof within the apartment can be not optimal, but did not cause sleep's disturbance.

Very comfy apartment close to the train station
Pro: An easy direct walk from the Venezia Mestre train station. Every train at Mestre goes to Venice, and every train from Venice stops at Mestre. So much better than trying to get a room in Venice. There is also a bus stop nearby that goes to Venice. Shorter walk but longer trip. The apartment was well fitted out. A good size kitchen/living room and separate bedroom. No lift so a bit of a struggle with luggage to the second floor for moving in and checking out. The apartment seemed to have been an Air B&B. Ingredients, spreads, and non-perishable food stuffs were left behind and actually did come in handy when we got back late one night after cafes had closed.
Contro: I'm not a great fan of the remote check in. I know there seems to be a growing trend as owners who own a few or less apartments are moving to booking.com. There is no onsite staff. Just a number to call if you need help. What is worse for me in this growing trend, is that they demand you email copies of your passport before they give you door codes. In this day and age of intercepting things sent over the internet, and ID scams, I am very surprised that this is a growing requirement of many holiday apartments. Personal identity security seems to be a very low priority. I mean, while they say they want to know who is renting their apartment, we are giving this information, over the internet, to people we don't know and may never meet. Where are our passport details stored? Having said that, I understand it is now a requirement of the Italian Government that holiday apartment owners must record passport details of guests, but I still have trouble with the fact that owners feel it is okay to demand copies are sent online rather than meet the guests in person. In this case, the owner was going to be there, but then sent a message saying could we send a copy of our passport so he could go. By this time I'd given up arguing with other owners, so just sent them, got the code and detailed instructions of how to get in, and never met the owner.

Pro: The flat was really close to the train station. The host’s instructions were clear. The room was decorated in a cosy style. The kitchen and living room were also equipped with everything we needed.

Pro: Very well equiped, close to the highway, close to the bus stop to Venice The host is super-helpful
